Job Title: Global Operations Specialist for Asset Management

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Specialist to join our team at SS&C Technologies Holdings. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong background in financial services to take on a senior role, overseeing the day-to-day administration of asset managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process daily transaction activity, including trades, corporate actions, and cash movements, ensuring accurate reconciliations in the system.
  • Reconcile cash, transactions, and holdings against custodian balances, identifying any discrepancies or variations.
  • Set up new accounts and securities on the system, collaborating with third-party vendors and custodians to ensure seamless asset transfers.
  • Generate and reconcile performance returns on a daily and monthly basis for portfolios and composites.
  • Conduct research on outliers and identify causes of variations, providing actionable insights for improvement.
  • Create new client reports, load data, and write processing documentation to maintain accurate records.
  • Produce reports for clients' staff and their clients on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Perform monthly account audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably in middle to back-office operational processing.
  • Operations experience at an investment management firm or vendor providing software or services within this space is highly beneficial.
  • Familiarity with SS&C products, including HiPortfolio and HiTrust, is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of OMS, Portfolio Management, Performance Measurement, and other relevant software is desired.
  • Familiarity with different asset classes, particularly fixed income, is essential.
  • Strong analytical skills, knowledge of accounting, and securities processing are necessary.
  • Experience with performance return calculations and client reporting, including client statements detailing holdings and performance returns, is preferred.
  • Self-directed, team-oriented individual with strong leadership abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are crucial for success in this role.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and support clients across various time zones.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
