Vessel Voyage Coordinator Role

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in arranging and coordinating the logistics of vessel voyages. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the planning and execution of each voyage from start to finish, ensuring that all necessary steps are taken to guarantee a smooth and successful journey.

About the Role

The Vessel Voyage Coordinator is responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders, including shipping agents, weather routing experts, and vessel masters, to ensure that all necessary arrangements are made for the safe and efficient transportation of goods. You will work closely with these parties to plan and execute every aspect of the voyage, from appointment of shipping agents to bunker replenishment and issuance of voyage instructions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with shipping agents to arrange appointments and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Plan and coordinate bunkers replenishment to ensure adequate fuel supplies during the voyage.
  • Work with vessel masters to issue voyage instructions in accordance with governing regulations.
  • Verify and check all shipping documents, including pre-stowage plans and bills of lading.
  • Handle freight invoices, demurrage, despatch, and hire-related matters.
