Job Overview

As a Lead Equipment Development Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the conception and implementation of innovative solutions for large-scale automation equipment. Your expertise in mechanical structures, 3D modeling, and troubleshooting will drive improvements in equipment quality and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and development of mechanical structures, including material selection, fabrication, testing, and improvement.
  • 3D modeling: Create 3D models and optimize existing equipment through design changes.
  • Mechanical troubleshooting: Resolve mechanical issues during the process of improving equipment quality and operational efficiency, and quickly iterate through prototyping, testing, and improvements.
  • Production equipment optimization: Modify and improve existing production equipment to address operational issues.
  • On-site management: Oversee and guide assembly and testing, and write equipment specifications, maintenance manuals, and repair handbooks.
  • Training development: Create and conduct training courses.
  • Equipment commissioning: Perform on-site debugging and implementation of new equipment.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Mechanical, Materials, Manufacturing, or related engineering fields.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin) required to support internal and external stakeholders.
