About the Role:

As a Senior Commodities Sales Professional at Marex Solutions, you will play a critical role in growing our commodity client franchise by originating new clients through personal contacts, networking events, and collaboration with internal partners such as brokers. You will also provide high-quality sales coverage across APAC (ex-Australia) for OTC Commodities, including quoting, deal execution, and providing market colour to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Originate new clients via personal contacts and networking events
  • Provide sales coverage across APAC for OTC Commodities
  • Coordinate KYC/onboarding and Credit approvals for new clients
  • Manage 1-2 junior team members depending on business needs

Requirements:

  • Direct sales experience in OTC commodity derivatives and a proven PNL track record
  • Familiarity with financial derivatives (futures, swaps, options)
  • Familiarity with commodity underlyings with focus on energy (oil, coal, emissions)
  • Knowledge of onboarding/credit approval procedures as well as legal documentation
  • Strong customer focus and ability to develop and manage your own direct client base
  • Team player and ability to collaborate with various internal stakeholders
  • Strong risk and compliance ethic with ability to conduct business within Company's policies & procedures and applicable rules and regulations
