Job Title:
Vice President, Treasury Liquidity and Risk Officer

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of risk management principles and practices, with expertise in treasury, market risk, liquidity management, and derivative products. They will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, delivery, and maintenance of best-in-class risk management programs, policies, and practices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing risk management strategies to ensure adherence to Citi's policies and good understanding of local regulatory requirements
  • Collaborating with Singapore FINCRO team, Asia South, and Japan Cluster Head as well as other cluster Finance CROs, global risk teams, and seniors to ensure best-in-class risk activities
  • Providing oversight and guidance over the assessment of broad complex issues, structures potential solutions, and drives effective resolution with other senior stakeholders
  • Reviewing and participating in approval and providing feedback on local risk framework, as well as monitoring compliance with risk limits/triggers
  • Interacting with other key risk seniors across clusters and globe (Market Risk, Credit Risk, Operational Risk) and relevant Finance and Reporting teams to improve accuracy of regulatory and management reporting

Requirements include:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience within risk management, treasury, or support functions with exposure to balance sheet, financial products, financial/risk analysis
  • Prior work experience in material entities and/or regional markets
  • Expert knowledge of treasury, market risk, liquidity management, and derivative products
  • Subject Matter Expert in asset-liability management, financial instruments, risk metrics, and risk management
  • Good analytical, technical, and quantitative skills
  • Ability to interact with auditors/regulators and understanding of applicable best practice guidelines and regulations

Candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions through concise and clear messaging.
