This involves preparing raw fishes, chopping vegetables, marinating meats, or preparing sauces, ensuring consistency in taste, portion, and presentation, and keeping the department fish soup preparation area clean and organized.

  • Preparing raw fishes and cutting them into required portions
  • Engaging in daily prep tasks such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, or preparing sauces
  • Ensuring consistency in taste, portion, and presentation of fish soup
  • Keeeping the department fish soup preparation area clean and organized
  • Monitoring stock levels and informing the supervisor of replenishment needs
  • Carefully handling raw seafood, following food hygiene and safety guidelines (SFA standards)
  • Properly storing and labeling ingredients to ensure freshness

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Prior experience in F&B preparation is an advantage
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintaining a high level of personal hygiene and adhering to all health and safety protocols
  • Familiarity with standard kitchen equipment and tools
