About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse/Senior Nurse to join our team. In this critical position, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of patient care and comfort in our state-of-the-art facility.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating and facilitating the admission process for new patients to ensure seamless transitions into care.
  • Providing support for anesthesia monitoring and recovery in emergency situations, working closely with our veterinarians to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Assisting emergency veterinarians with the care and treatment of hospitalized patients, including those in the ICU, and overseeing critical patients in the ward and ICU.
  • Performing radiographic imaging to aid in diagnoses and treatment planning.
  • Restraint patients for exams and treatments while maintaining their safety and comfort.
  • Preparing and discharging patients for surgeries, including postoperative bandaging and recovery.
  • Communicating effectively with clients to address their concerns and provide exceptional service.
  • Participating in inpatient rounds and engaging in self-directed learning activities to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A degree or diploma in veterinary technology/nursing or relevant qualifications.
  • Prior experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital setting is preferred, but not essential.
