Job Title: Electrical Systems Manager

This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills and technical expertise to oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.

  • Lead QA/QC and Commissioning: Manage on-site teams and ensure that all electrical systems are installed, tested, and commissioned according to project specifications and timelines.
  • Vendor Coordination: Facilitate weekly and ad-hoc meetings with vendors to discuss energization and startup plans.
  • System Oversight: Ensure that all electrical systems are operating correctly and efficiently.
  • Technical Expertise: Apply your knowledge of Electrical Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and Mechanical Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) to resolve technical issues and improve system performance.
  • Problem-Solving: Prepare Root Cause Analysis reports to identify and address technical issues.
  • Safety Procedures: Implement and oversee Lock-Out, Tag-Out (LOTO) processes to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Attend meetings with clients, main contractors, and sub-contractors to provide updates and discuss project progress.
  • Technical Issue Resolution: Directly communicate with the Commissioning Agent to resolve technical issues efficiently.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Educational Background: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in electrical systems management.
  • Personal Qualities: Perseverance, diligence, integrity, and initiative in your work.

You will also need to possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical systems management, including installation, testing, and commissioning. You will need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
