Vertical Transportation Specialist - Annual Inspection Expertise

We are seeking a skilled Vertical Transportation Specialist to join our team. This role will play a key part in upholding elevator system safety and performance.

The ideal candidate will have experience with lift inspections and testing, as well as strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and documentation. They will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be customer-focused, and thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and conduct annual inspections, including Full Load and Brake Tests, in accordance with local regulations
  • Develop, update, and implement inspection procedures and testing standards to ensure consistent quality
  • Coordinate inspection schedules and manage manpower deployment across multiple sites
  • Liaise with clients and internal teams to confirm schedules and resolve on-site challenges
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues identified during inspections, and recommend corrective actions
  • Prepare comprehensive inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation for audit purposes
  • Contribute to the refinement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and promote best practices within the team
Requirements:
  • Education: Diploma or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in lift inspections or lift engineering, with responsibilities at the engineer level
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of local lift inspection regulations and standards
