Job Title: Marine Support Specialist

Description:

  • We conduct training sessions, live demonstrations, system trials and onboard testing of our product during vessel transits.
  • We perform verification inspections onboard vessels at ports, terminals or anchorages.
  • We coordinate logistics for moving equipment between the warehouse and vessels.
  • We support software or firmware updates and maintenance tasks.
  • We offer technical advice to improve equipment performance.
  • We attend and support local sales meetings and product demonstrations when required.
  • We provide support on other tasks as assigned.
Key ResponsibilitiesFunctional Tasks
  • Conduct training sessions, live demonstrations and system trials of our product during vessel transits.
  • Perform verification inspections onboard vessels at ports, terminals or anchorages.
  • Coordinate logistics for moving equipment between the warehouse and vessels.
  • Support software or firmware updates and maintenance tasks.
  • Offer technical advice to improve equipment performance.
Candidate Requirements
  • Diploma or higher in Maritime Studies, Marine & Offshore Engineering or a related field is required.
  • Prior sailing experience as a deck cadet would be beneficial.
  • You must be comfortable boarding vessels at different locations and participating in short voyages.
  • Strong communication, planning and reporting abilities are essential.
  • You should have analytical, organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated and proactive qualities.
  • A collaborative team player who can contribute ideas is necessary.
  • Will travel abroad for training or job-related assignments.
