Electrical Assurance Specialist

This position involves collaborating with the Resident Engineer to ensure timely completion of projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and supervising Contractors' works and tests, maintaining quality records of all works, and reporting on work progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Close Supervision and Coordination Duties: Assist the Resident Engineer in conducting daily close supervision and coordination duties.
- Inspection and Supervision of Contractors' Works: Inspect and supervise Contractors' works and tests to approved drawings and specifications.
- Quality Records Management: Maintain quality records of all works, monitor, and report on work progress.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Registered as Resident Technical Officer with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore / Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore.
- Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in quality assurance inspections on large infrastructure projects, power, oil & gas, or waste/water management projects in Singapore, particularly for power transformers, MV switchgears, EDG, MV VSD, LV VSD, distribution transformers, MV/LV busducts, LV switchgear, MCC, UPS, and DC chargers.
- Analysis Capability: Analysis capability of rational of EICA installation.
- Communication Skills: Dealing with EPC contractors and reporting to lead EICA engineers on observations.
Preferred Qualities:
- Site Inspection Experience: Site inspection experience in electrical and instrumentation installations and commissioning.
- Coordinating Abilities: Assist lead EICA engineer in daily site works and facilitate coordination with client.
