Job Title: Director of Infrastructure Development

Are you a seasoned professional looking for a challenging role in infrastructure development?

We are seeking an experienced Director to lead our Utilities and Infrastructure Sector in the Asia-Pacific region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate finance, origination, and structuring expertise. Key Responsibilities
  • Originate and support origination of business in the APAC region (excl. Japan) in the designated U&I sector, using sector knowledge, structuring expertise, and deal experience under management instruction.

This includes:

  • Corporate finance, Acquisition finance (Recourse / Non-recourse), other structured products (incl. Securitization / Project finance)
  • M&A advisory by Securities, Greenhill, etc.
  • DCM, ECM and related products by Securities, etc.
  • Ancillary services in event-driven deals (foreign exchange, derivatives, trade financing, transaction banking, etc.)

You will promote communication with C-suite executives (CEO, CFO, etc.) and M&A decision-makers of each client. Coordinate with country bankers, sector bankers, and product bankers (including those from other entities) in Americas, EMEA, APAC (incl. Japan) to pitch the most appropriate products/solutions to clients. Lead strategic discussions by analyzing clients' business and M&A strategies, investment plans, financials, and credit; create comprehensive pitch books (including industry trends, synergy analysis, company valuation, and product descriptions); visit clients as necessary to promote Mizuho's products in a compliant manner; manage designated accounts with accountability in collaboration with corporate bankers and local RMs; establish relationship-building with key stakeholders across the organization. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing and implementing strategic initiatives that align with the bank's goals and objectives.
