Exclusive Breastfeeding Expert

The Breastfeeding Specialist plays a vital role in promoting and supporting exclusive breastfeeding, while delivering high-quality patient care to inpatients.
To excel in this position, you will need to demonstrate proficiency in core and specialty skills, stay current with trends in nursing practice through ongoing education and self-development, and assist the nurse manager/clinician in implementing, assessing, and evaluating nurses' competencies related to breastfeeding.
You will also be responsible for conducting breastfeeding workshops for nurses to enhance their knowledge and skills in assisting mothers with breastfeeding, providing quality parentcraft services, maintaining records and statistics, and reviewing and developing hospital policies and programs related to breastfeeding.
Additionally, you will participate in internal and external events to promote the organization's maternity services, and perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
- Hold a Diploma in Nursing recognized by the Singapore Nursing Board, with at least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar job position and department.
- Be a Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board and hold a valid IBCLC Certificate.
