Job Title:

Community Relations Officer

\helpers h3>Job Description:\

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing community relations initiatives to enhance the overall satisfaction levels of Sentosa Cove residents, stakeholders, and island partners. They will work closely with the outsourced Facilities Management Company (FMC) to engage residents through community bonding activities, placemaking events, and other initiatives.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in customer relations, administration, and team collaboration. You will also contribute to the improvement of the high service standard that SCRM strives to achieve.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • \
  • Developing ideas to engage residents and facilitate conversations to enhance the value of the precinct\
  • Identifying and developing sustainable, unique, and interesting programs and events to create a strong sense of belonging among residents\
  • Ensuring all communication materials are constantly reviewed to ensure the information relayed is current and relevant\
  • Coordinating and hosting visits to Sentosa Cove, including requests for filming\
  • Scanning media for news and updates on Sentosa Cove\
  • Engaging residents through informal gatherings and briefings for new residents\
  • Working closely with FMC to organize events for placemaking and engagement\
  • Assisting the General Manager's Office with duties as assigned\
  • Providing ad-hoc assistance on procurement processes through GeBiz\
  • Any other projects or duties assigned\
  • Responsible for soliciting privileges and discounts for Sentosa Cove Residents and stakeholders\
  • Liaising with SDC Marketing teams for branding and collaborative opportunities\
  • Assisting the SDC Communications team with media queries\
  • Coordinate the production of newsletters and other communication collaterals
\Required Skills and Qualifications:\
  • \
  • Degree in a related field of study\
  • Minimum 2-3 years of working experience\
  • Experience in customer relations and administrative experience\
  • Strong administrative skills that can add value to the team\
  • Passion in helping and assisting people\
  • Calm and composed when under pressure\
  • Pro-active with a sense of initiative\
  • Strong interpersonal skills\
  • Ability to multi-task, work under time pressure, and possess a keen eye for detail\
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is an advantage
