The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with NTU alumni, developing and implementing engagement initiatives, and supporting the Director in resource planning and coordination.

Our Office of Alumni Engagement (OAE) is committed to fostering a lifelong, mutually beneficial relationship with our alumni, through various events and partnering programs.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement projects aligned with OAE goals, in response to stakeholder requirements and management's objectives.
  2. Recruit and steward contributing alumni in leveraging their talent and resources.
  3. Leverage online platforms and technology to scale alumni engagement.
  4. Support the Director in resource planning, coordinating reports, proposals, and analyses for NTU Senior Management.
  5. Assist colleagues in executing programs and major events organized by OAE.

Requirements


The ideal candidate should possess strong stakeholder management skills, project/vendor management abilities, and the capacity to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously. Additionally, they should demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, with excellent writing skills.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of relevant work experience in events, community or professional network engagement, stakeholder relations or alumni relations/advancement.
  • Possess strong stakeholder management skills and project/vendor management abilities with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills, with excellent writing skills.
  • Ability and willingness to collaborate within a team in a fast-paced environment while also working independently and being self-motivated.
  • Proven experience in managing and executing webinars, and engagement programmes, preferably in an alumni relations or higher education setting.
