Job Summary
As a Physical Rehabilitation Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists in delivering high-quality therapy services to clients. Your key tasks will include assisting with individual and group treatments, documentation, and preparation of reports.

- Implement tailored treatment plans under the guidance of OTs/PTs
- Assist with mobility aids and equipment, ambulation, gait training, active and passive exercises, and muscular re-education
- Prepare clients for rehabilitative therapy sessions
- Set up equipment for client use
- Supervise and monitor clients during exercise sessions and heat/electrotherapy treatments
- Create splints and pressure garments under OT/PT supervision
- Take clients' blood pressure and temperature before exercises
- Monitor clients' mobility and alert nursing staff or OT/PT to any abnormalities
- Ensure client safety during therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of treatment records and case notes
- Keep therapy areas clean and tidy, including cleaning equipment and maintaining general cleanliness and hygiene
- Evaluate and document clients' therapy needs, progress, and reviews every three months

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Possess a WSQ Certificate in Therapy Support or equivalent qualification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good problem-solving and time management skills
