Job Description

The Safety Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being of workers and upholding safety standards within our organization.

This key position involves overseeing the implementation of safety protocols, providing training to employees, and promoting a culture of safety throughout the workplace.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be able to initiate improvements to the current safety system, and demonstrate a thorough understanding of local statutory and corporate requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and providing necessary training to employees.
  • Coordinating the implementation of company HSE policies and safety management systems.
  • Conducting risk assessments and developing appropriate risk management strategies.
  • Assisting in accident/ incident investigations and implementing control measures to prevent re-occurrence.
  • Carrying out other safety-related functions as directed by the Safety Officer/Manager or Project Manager in charge.
Requirements
  • ITE/Diploma in any discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar capacity in the manufacturing or construction industry.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to initiate improvements to the current safety system.
  • Both MWAH & WSH level B training competency.
  • Bilingual in English & Mandarin (to handle Chinese-speaking customers/counterparts).
