As a professional jeweller, you will play a vital role in the appraisal process. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough examinations of gold-based items to determine their purity, weight and authenticity. This will involve performing detailed evaluations using a range of test methods and equipment, including acid tests, electronic testers and density meters.
In addition to your technical expertise, you will also need to possess excellent communication skills. You will be interacting with clients on a daily basis, answering their questions and concerns about the appraisal procedure. This requires a friendly and professional approach, as well as the ability to provide clear and concise information.
To ensure accurate appraisals, it is essential that all equipment used is correctly calibrated and maintained. As a jeweller, you will be responsible for ensuring that all necessary checks are performed on a regular basis, and that any issues are promptly addressed.
Our team works collaboratively to provide seamless customer service and accurate pricing. You will have the opportunity to work closely with other members of the team, including sales associates and jewellers, to ensure that our clients receive the best possible experience.
