Singapore A & R BUSINESS CONSULTANCY PTE. LTD. Full time

JOB Responsibilities:
1. Fully responsible for the Valuation of jewellery products and luxury ornaments

3. Appraise the value of gemstones according to their colour, the clarity of the stones, and the quality of the cut.

4. Assist the sales team to achieve target and responsible to clear customer’s queries.

5. Provide service to customers with astrological gemstone predication suitable to that customer.

6. Provide good customer service

7. Be self-motivated and assist the sales team to achieve monthly sales targets.

8. Ensure basic housekeeping and perform general admin duties

9. Experience in managing traditional repair services, such as engraving, ring resizing, jewellery cleaning, etc.

10. Assist in inventory maintenance and stock taking.

11. Developing, reviewing, and improving appraisal policies, and procedures.

12. Weekly 6 days needs to work from Shop opening to Shop closing(10 am to 10 pm with 2 hours break, Saturday, Sunday work compulsory)

APPRAISER - REQUIREMENTS

1. Minimum must have ‘A’ level or equivalent. Prefer higher qualification. Must have a recognised Jewel appraiser course certificate.

2. Minimum 5 years experience in Jewel appraisal

3. Must have clear knowledge in astrological gemstone predication suitable to customers.

4. Capable to appraise the value of gemstones according to their colour, the clarity of the stones, and the quality of the cut.

5. Appraiser capable to study a work of art for style of brush strokes, colour values, and other relevant characteristics.

6. Capable to make judgment of the materials, style, and techniques employed by different artists in different periods.

7. Jewelry appraiser capable to determines its wholesale and retail values.

8. Experience in jewellery management, financial reporting and stock reporting compulsory.

9. Experience in product information associated with the jewellery, including the type of metal, stone, design, brand, style or other attributes, as well as, warranty information and certificates.

10. Must have a clear knowledge and experience with Platinum, Gold, Silver, Gem Stones, Sapphire, diamond, ruby, pearl, emerald, cats-eye, coral, topaz. Able to appraise Jewells and other ornamental prices.

11. Experience in the serial number is used as a unique identifier to track the product’s movement throughout the retail environment, from receiving, to store transfers, to bin placement and final sale

12. Experience in managing traditional repair services, such as engraving, ring resizing, jewellery cleaning, etc..

13. Must work Weekly 6 days from Shop opening to Shop closing(10 am to 10 pm with 2 hours break, Saturday, Sunday and Public holidays must work)
