About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to work on the backbone of AWS, supporting the rapidly growing AWS business and customers 24/7. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Perform rack installs, rack decommissioning, and facility management.
  • Provide operational readings and key performance indicators to ensure uptime is maintained.
  • Manage contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors to ensure all work performed is in accordance with established practices and local legislation.
  • Oversee maintenance and operations on all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within the data center.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a mission-critical environment, preferably in data center operations or maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
