Renewable Energy Project Manager Role

About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Project Manager to play a key role in the successful delivery of projects in the renewable energy sector.

Your primary responsibility will be to track and monitor project schedules and budget, flagging out any potential deviations in terms of timings and costing, using corporate tools and platforms.

You will also manage contractors and other third parties in an effective and efficient manner to ensure projects run smoothly.

In addition, you will identify potential risks in terms of construction and progress, making sure these are flagged to the senior project manager.

You will enforce quality checklists for review or inspection of solar projects and manage and interact with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project.

Requirements
  • Proven Communication Skills: Proven track record of effective communications with project stakeholders.
  • Project Management Skills: Good project management skills with ability to report in a clear and concise manner.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Mobility and Adaptability: Being mobile and willing to work under varying conditions are essential.
  • Technical Skills: Skilled in project management framework (e.g. Gantt Chart/Scrum/PMP) and general electrical knowledge with the ability of interpreting Single Line Diagram (SLD).

Degree in Engineering and 2+ years of experience in construction/installation projects, preferably in renewable energy or construction industry with solar experience required.
