We are seeking volunteers to join our Citizens On Patrol initiative, where you will play a vital role in enhancing community safety and security. As a COP member, you will be part of a team that works closely with the police to prevent and detect crime.
Job DescriptionThe Citizens On Patrol scheme is designed to empower communities to take an active role in maintaining peace and order. As a COP member, your primary responsibility will be to patrol designated areas, report any suspicious activities or crimes to the authorities, and engage with the public on crime prevention measures.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Nationality: Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Age: 17-80 years old
Successful applicants will undergo training on basic crime prevention, SGSecure, and Community Emergency Preparedness. This comprehensive training will equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform your duties effectively.

As a COP member, you will be issued a standardised vest and identification card to project a strong, unified presence during patrols. You will also have the opportunity to serve a larger community and experience diverse terrains by patrolling within the boundaries of designated Neighbourhood Police Centres (NPCs).
