Social Work Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Social Work Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing upstream support to children from low-income families in the areas of early childhood development, health, and social support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform administrative duties, including maintaining updated information of KidSTART families in internal systems;
  • Support intake assessment of referrals;
  • Support case workers in information gathering and conduct assessments on children's developmental needs;
  • Assist case workers to develop holistic child-centric case plans for each child and provide monitoring and follow up to address any barriers until child graduates from programme;
  • Support case workers in engaging children and parents with knowledge and skills on meeting child's developmental needs;
  • Provide last mile delivery of support to families.

Requirements:

  • Possess minimum Diploma in Social Work;
  • 2-3 years' experience in social service, working with families or early childhood education sector;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Organised, meticulous and adaptable to changes;
  • Able to work at least two evenings per week;
  • This position is on contract basis.
