Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Systems Commissioning Specialist to lead and execute commissioning activities for mechanical systems on marine vessels.

This role involves collaborating with project teams to ensure successful commissioning of vessels, conducting inspections and tests to verify system performance and compliance with specifications, diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues during commissioning, providing technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians, documenting commissioning procedures, results, and recommendations, and coordinating with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and installation of equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, prior experience in commissioning mechanical systems on marine vessels, knowledge of marine systems, equipment, and regulations, strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, effective communication and leadership abilities, and the ability to work well in a team and independently.
