If you want to be one of the greatest in the market, this is your opportunityWe are currently looking for talented individuals to join the role below: Lead Mechanical Commissioning Engineer Location: Metropolis, Buona Vista, Singapore Responsibilities Commissioning Planning & Preparation: attend supplier kick‐off meetings to roll out package related commissioning requirements; review supplier documents, ITR assignments, and provide inputs for commissioning schedule; review/prepare commissioning system boundaries, procedures, and deliverables; identify shortfalls through review and address with the team; support in developing onshore & offshore commissioning procedures; assist in developing project deliverables per project & client requirements; ensure inclusion of Class / SCE & process safety verification activities; prepare and review company development methodologies / procedures; support Commissioning Manager and Commissioning Project Engineer in preparing tools, utilities, and other items for commissioning activities; review/develop/approve commissioning schedule and scope of work for third‐party services; identify and manage resource requirements to meet schedule and targets; review/evaluate third‐party services engagements for commissioning scope. Commissioning Execution: lead site execution teams in pre‐commissioning and commissioning activities, coordinate with Construction and Pre‐Operations, ensure adherence to safe systems of work; lead commissioning to meet the strategy set by the Commissioning Manager; supervise day‐to‐day activities per Company standards; act as responsible commissioning engineer for major systems when required; manage PTW, engineers, technicians, operations support, supplier support, and CLASS witness to execute approved procedures and sign off test reports; attend FAT & SAT as required; perform system commissioning, functional tests, and system certification with Class Society; verify and close out all safety critical elements; ensure regulatory testing and records; prepare commissioning records and checklists; perform risk assessments and toolbox talks; ensure safe and controlled execution by technicians; oversee preservation & maintenance activities; plan daily work and manage schedule/targets; execute pre‐commissioning and commissioning with client sign‐offs; prepare timely technical reports; assist offshore startup and handover. Commissioning Coordination: work with MC Coordinator and Commissioning Coordinator to complete ITRs, mechanical completion, and commissioning completion; coordinate with construction, other engineers, and external vendors; liaise with other engineering departments for documents; independently address regulatory, class, vendors and client comments; participate in project meetings to review progress and interface issues; coordinate functional testing with Operations; provide technical inputs to mitigate disputes; interact with suppliers/subcontractors/yards/clients; capture lessons learned and improvement opportunities. Commissioning Services & FSR Management: ensure sub‐contractor / FSR / third‐party services are completed as planned. Relationship Responsibilities: report per corporate/project organization chart; develop relationships with client personnel; maintain good team relations and motivate; work with a diverse, multi‐cultural team and provide training as needed. Discipline Specific - Mechanical: comprehensive knowledge of FPSO functionality, focusing on topsides, marine mechanical & process systems.
