Job Overview

As a Seafarer Wellness Executive, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the organization's seafarer health and wellness program. Your primary goal is to develop strategic plans that enhance the organization's brand visibility through effective rollout across both existing and new regions.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the seafarer health and wellness program, focusing on enhancing the organization's brand visibility.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the program, ensuring seamless execution of its objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as Underwriting and Claims departments, to integrate the wellness program and address coverage matters effectively.
  • Conduct causation reviews and generate statistical reports to support quarterly and annual business reviews, highlighting claims and wellness trends.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Management: Develop and implement strategies to manage the seafarer health and wellness program, ensuring it meets its objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with external stakeholders, including brokers, members, clinics, and third-party administrators, to ensure smooth communication and coordination.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Conduct causation reviews and generate statistical reports to provide insights into claims and wellness trends, supporting business reviews.

Requirements:
  • A solid background in the maritime or shipping industry, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • A Degree or Diploma in a maritime-related field or other relevant qualifications.
  • Experience in crewing or marine insurance is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to prepare high-quality content and confidently present to various stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with internal teams and external partners.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
