Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer to join our team in a key role of manufacturing process specialist at Viatris Asia Pacific PTE. LTD.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to lead the management of electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring compliance with cGMP regulations and good maintenance practices. As a Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in the management of manufacturing information systems, improving manufacturing success rates, and maintaining zero downtime.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and instrumentation engineering, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical, or petrochemical industries. You will be responsible for managing and supervising a team of Calibration/E&I Technicians, performing instrument calibration and maintenance activities, developing calibration programs, and maintaining quality and accuracy of data integrity. Additionally, you will be involved in continuous improvement initiatives, support manager in achieving financial objectives, and maintain a safe working environment. We offer competitive compensation package including estimated annual salary $120,000 USD.

Your Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A degree/diploma in engineering related qualifications.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experiences in pharmaceutical, chemical, or petrochemical industries.
  • Good working knowledge of CMS application, CGMP, GMI strategies and PMO concept.
  • Knowledge of Reliability Maintenance, Right First Time technique and performance base management.
  • Experience in a large, global and complex organization would be an advantage.
  • Able to handle multiple projects concurrently and possess project management experience.
  • Able to influence stakeholders or Business Leaders and to build trust throughout the organization.
  • Demonstrated capability to thrive in a complex and matrix environment.
  • Able to work with ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated consultative skills.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Knowledge of cGMP and regulatory requirement related to instrument validation.
