Heat Treatment Technician Role

We are seeking a skilled Heat Treat Technician to join our organization. In this position, you will operate and maintain heat treatment equipment and processes.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with heat treatment techniques, troubleshooting equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

  • Operate and troubleshoot vacuum carburize, gas nitride, atmospheric, and vacuum heat treatment equipment and processes.
  • Maintain all measuring equipment, gages, and fixtures for accurate inspection checks.
  • Enter quality information accurately and timely on relevant documents.
  • Ensure active certified machinist status.
  • Read and interpret blueprints.
  • Adhere to EH&S & CORE requirements in the workplace.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Perform daily housekeeping and sustain 5S implementations.

Requirements:

  • NITEC qualification in Precision Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in heat treatment processes.
  • Able to work in high-temperature environments.
