Petrochemical Trade Coordination Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Senior Petrochemical Trade Coordinator. This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of petrochemical trades, from trade documentation to vessel operations and logistics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Trade Documentation: Coordinate and manage trade documents, including bills of lading, invoices, certificates of origin, and customs paperwork, to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
  • Vessel Operations: Coordinate vessel operations and logistics to ensure smooth loading, discharge, and compliance with regulations and safety standards.
  • Finance Support: Provide financial support by handling invoicing, payments, reconciliations, and required documents for settlements.
  • Client Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact between traders, clients, and internal teams to ensure seamless trade execution and clear updates.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all trades adhere to regulatory requirements and policies while maintaining accurate records for audits.
Requirements:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Maritime Studies, Business, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: At least 3 years of experience in physical operations within petrochemical trading.
  • Expertise: Proven expertise in international shipping and trade documentation procedures.
  • Vessel Operations Knowledge: Good understanding of vessel operations, chartering terms, and port procedures.
  • Collaborative Skills: Detail-oriented and collaborative, able to manage multiple trades under tight timelines, with experience in demurrage, laytime, and freight cost tracking an asset.
