About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Fee Analyst Lead to join our team at Partners Group. As a key member of our global fee team, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely calculation of fees for our clients worldwide.

Your primary focus will be on understanding various fee structures and principles for a portfolio of private market programs and clients across the fund/investment life cycle. This includes management and incentive fees.

You will work closely with operational teams and client relationship professionals around the world to perform various program and client fee-related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret complex fee terms in legal agreements and enter, review, and oversee fee parameters within our fee database.
  • Perform and review non-standard/complex closing and periodic fee calculations within stipulated deadlines.
  • Analyze and identify fee patterns and developments, and manage several fee system automated alerts and prompts.
  • Adhere to internal fee processes and controls annually reviewed and implement fee automation initiatives.
  • Coordinate annual external fee audits and clarify fee terms with Legal and Structuring teams.
  • Discuss with Client Relationship and Risk teams on fee outcomes and contribute to proper documentation of outcomes and decisions.
  • Recommending refinements to fee systems and processes and assisting with client queries surrounding fees.
  • Critically assessing unusual fee structures.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree from a university, preferably in Math / Accounting / Finance / Financial Management / Business Administration plus 8+ years of work experience.
  • Private Equity/Venture Capital/Hedge Fund accounting/finance work experience would be an advantage.
  • Candidates should be independent, analytical, possess a keen eye for details, and able to synthesize fee concepts and their impact.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and passion for automation and efficiency.
  • Experience with AI is a strong advantage but not required.

Salary

Our estimated salary for this role is between $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, based on your skills and experience. This figure is subject to change based on location and other factors.
