Medical Informatics Director

As a Senior Manager of Medical Informatics, you will play a pivotal role in leading a team and spearheading the implementation of our Next Generation Electronic Medical Records (NGEMR) system.
You will work closely with clinical and IT stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and effective adoption of the new system, driving safe patient care, cutting-edge research, and world-class education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support application leads by coordinating analyst assignments
- Act as a liaison between clinical, IT, and operational teams to define project scope, training objectives, and measurable deliverables
- Design, develop, and manage comprehensive training programs to ensure end-user readiness across all institutions and departments
- Lead planning, scheduling, and delivery of training initiatives in alignment with project timelines and organizational priorities
- Monitor and evaluate training program effectiveness, making continuous improvements
Ensure that your training strategy supports the overall vision and mission of the organization, focusing on improved patient outcomes, enhanced user experience, and operational excellence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- 8 years of relevant experience in clinical information systems, IT project management, and preferably in a healthcare environment, including at least 4 years of managerial/supervisory experience
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows and project coordination
- Certification in Epic Electronic Medical Record system application is an advantage
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Good stakeholder management skills
- Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
