Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead our Airspace Management team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the development of real-time distributed complex software-centric solutions in a safety-critical environment.

This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and experience in managing multi-skilled engineering teams. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide direction, guidance, and expert advice to the engineering team to ensure effective delivery of projects.
  • Project Management: Manage the total life cycle of complex software development, including processes and responsibilities at each stage in the cycle.
  • Team Management: Lead a multi-skilled team of engineers to deliver software engineering solutions, aligning team capability to meet customer expectations.
  • Risk Management: Identify and review risks, proposing effective solutions and executing mitigation actions.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Solid experience in managing the development of real-time distributed complex software-centric solutions in a safety-critical environment.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders across a complex environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Experience in managing software development projects using Agile methodologies and the ability to drive iterative development processes.
  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management, Work Package Control, and reporting, with exposure to scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
  • Financial/budgetary management of engineering work packages or tasks.
Desirable Skills
  • Air Traffic Management domain expertise (including standards such as ICAO, Eurocontrol, AIDC).
  • Experience in product delivery using agile methodologies like Lean methods (including PDCA, Kanban, Value-Stream Mapping); prior experience working Agile @ Scale framework is a bonus.
  • Programming/scripting languages; Java, C++, Ada, Python, Bash.
  • Experience working in a Linux/Unix development environment.

Salary
