Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Therapy Assistant to join our team. As a Therapy Assistant, you will provide essential support to our therapists, assisting with therapy programmes, monitoring client progress, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist therapists in implementing therapy programmes and conducting group therapy sessions.
  • Monitor and record client vital signs for therapy purposes.
  • Provide feedback on client progress to therapists.
  • Adhere to St Luke's ElderCare's standard of clinical practice.
  • Practice infection control measures to ensure cleanliness of equipment and hygiene on premise.
  • Assist in providing a safe and supportive environment for clients.
  • Perform related administrative duties, including maintaining client files and updating attendance records.
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance and report any issues to supervisors.
  • Participate in in-service training and continuing education to enhance clinical skills.
  • Collaborate with the therapy team to improve department processes and operations.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Healthcare Management and Promotion or a related field.
  • Certificate in Therapy Services from a reputable institution.
  • WSQ Certification in Therapy Support.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under time constraints.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
