We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Executive to join our team at Recruit Now Singapore Pte. Ltd. in the Shipping Industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and review financial statements for vessels, ensuring compliance with accounting rules and legislation.
- Issue invoices and monitor timely payment from clients, reporting any discrepancies.
- Execute accounting transactions, including expenses, payments, and payroll, and update accounting ledgers accordingly.
- Perform bank reconciliations and review master's month-end cash statements.
- Settle accounts and payments for vessels, ensuring smooth operations.
- Produce and submit periodical financial reports to senior management, reviewing actual costs against budgets.
- Assist in the preparation of yearly company financial reports.
- Diploma in Accountancy/Finance/CPA/ACCA/Diploma
- At least 4 years of accounting experience in vessel handling and analytical reporting from the shipping industry
- Skill(s): Accounts, Tax and GST reporting
- Prior experience in the Shipping / Ship Management industry is a MUST.
- Prior experience with the DANAOS/SHIPNET accounting module preferred
