Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Director of Payments Policy and Regulation.

The role will involve the supervision of payment system operators, formulating policies for their regulation, and assessing their business operations and risk management practices.

You will work closely with colleagues in other functions and engage with industry stakeholders.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the development of Singapore's economic and financial landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise payment system operators (PSOs) and formulate policies for their regulation.
  • Assess the business operations and risk management practices of PSOs and calibrate the regulatory framework accordingly.
  • Work closely with colleagues in other functions and engage with industry stakeholders.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess experience in financial supervision, risk management, compliance, audit or operations in a financial institution, and be able to think critically about issues on multiple dimensions as a practical and balanced supervisor.

Able to condense and convey ideas in a clear manner, whether written or oral, you will be intellectually inspired by the prospects of laying the groundwork and tending to the critical infrastructure of a global financial centre.
