About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled engineer to join our Search E-Commerce team. This team is responsible for developing the search algorithm for our rapidly growing global e-commerce business. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to build a world-class search engine that provides the best e-commerce experience for our 1 billion monthly users worldwide.

Responsibilities
  • Improve the basic search quality and user experience by optimizing query analysis and text relevance matching.
  • Understand e-commerce video content and implement multi-modal matching to improve users' perception of product authority.
  • Comprehensively improve the end-to-end shopping experience from browsing to after-sales.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A PhD in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Excellent coding skills and solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
  • Strong analytical, modeling, and problem-solving skills to see the essence of problems from complex data.
