Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Operations Specialist to join our team at SATS LTD. as an Assistant Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and achieving workshop maintenance production for Ground Support Equipment GSE and/or airport automotive vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan and schedule maintenance production to ensure good availability, quality, and safety outcomes within budget while complying with regulations and standards.
  2. Manage work orders, spares usage, and production using WIAM (computerized asset management and maintenance system).
  3. Lead and manage assistant engineers/engineering technicians and/or outsourced contractor production/shift supervisors, and perform shift/resource planning.
  4. Conduct troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and prepare investigation reports.
  5. Maintain fleet records and documentation, and analyze records and data to improve fleet performance and maintenance outcomes.
  6. Prepare to be appointed as Engineering Supervisor in-charge or cover for Maintenance Engineer.
Requirements
  • Diploma/NITEC qualifications in engineering discipline with relevant technical and management experience.
  • Ability to lead and manage a multi-cultural technical workforce.
  • Role modelling, service orientation, technical professionalism.
  • Able to work on occasional weekend/public holidays as required.
  • Possess class 3 driving license.
