We are seeking a Strategic Development Professional to join our team in Singapore. As a key member of the Advisory team, you will work with clients to evaluate market and economic feasibility of hotels, mixed-use resorts, and leisure destinations worldwide.

The ideal candidate will be highly numerate and comfortable with quantitative data analysis. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Collaboratively planning and performing market research and data collection
  2. Designing engaging workshops with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders
  3. Analyzing qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources to determine impact on client development opportunities
  4. Using interdisciplinary thinking and collaboration to ground ideas in research insights
  5. Managing day-to-day project operations, including staffing, fee tracking, and forecasting, as well as client meetings
  6. Guiding junior staff on projects and sharing experience, encouraging original thinking, and ensuring alignment throughout the project
  7. Possessing a broad understanding of geography, economics, and global affairs
  8. Writing comprehensive and expert reports for various stakeholders
  9. Producing financial modeling to appraise hotel and mixed-use developments
  10. Coordinating project administration and internal corporate support
  11. Working closely with the Advisory Studio Director and team to ensure project success

You will have a degree in real estate, economics, tourism, or a related field, with 10+ years of relevant professional experience. A background in real estate/hotel development and/or consulting is essential. Strong organizational and analytical skills are required, as well as the ability to work in a team environment under pressure. Critical and creative thinking, clear communication, and presentation skills are also necessary.

Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, highly numerate and competent with Microsoft Excel spreadsheet modeling, and well-traveled with a broad understanding of geography, economics, and global affairs are also important. Organizational skills are essential, and good coordination of project administration and internal corporate support is required. A passion for leisure and tourism, and a solid understanding of the hospitality sector, are also beneficial.
