Ophthalmic investigation technicians play a vital role in the accurate diagnosis and treatment of eye conditions. They utilize advanced equipment, including autorefractometers and topography machines, to collect data that helps ophthalmologists make informed decisions about patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate autorefractometers and medmont topography machines to collect precise measurements of patients' eyes
  • Enquire about customers' lens information and edging, as well as fitting ophthalmic lenses
  • Verify spectacle power for customers and perform quality control checks on customer spectacles before dispensing
