MEP Technical Staff/BIM Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled MEP technical staff member to join our team.

This role involves working as part of a collaborative team to deliver high-quality MEP design services. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in CAD software, specifically Revit and AutoCAD MEP.

  1. Create detailed designs with computer-aided design (CAD) software, including mechanical and electrical schematics and layouts.
  2. Review building requirements in collaboration with the engineering team.
  3. Identify potential operational issues and redesign MEP systems for improved functionality.
  4. E nsure final designs meet building regulations and quality standards.

The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be detail-oriented, and have a strong understanding of building design principles and codes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement MEP design solutions that meet customer needs.
  2. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems.
  3. Conduct site visits to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and best practices.

Able to work effectively in a team environment, communicate complex design ideas clearly, and maintain accurate records of project progress.
