Job Title: Electrical Design Technician

Overview:

  • We are seeking a skilled and experienced electrical design technician to join our team.

Job Description:

  • The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be proficient in AUTOCAD 2D/3D software.
  • Assist the project team in studying tender documents, preparing material lists, and project costing for tender submission.
  • Prepare high-quality AUTOCAD drawings, including electrical SLDs, schematic diagrams, layout plans, and other related documentation.
  • Liaise with engineers and supervisors to ensure requirements are met and projects are completed on time.
  • Develop and maintain technical skills through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering - mechanical/electrical or equivalent.
  • Excellent English proficiency (speaking and writing).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a construction or engineering environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good PC skills and proficiency in Autocad 2D/3D and Microsoft Office.
