Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of Engineering Services Technician 2. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and repair works within our facilities. This includes plumbing and sanitary systems, electrical fixtures, and Chiller Plant System.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in building services (M&E) and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a retail mall/office/hotel environment.

In this role, you will perform day-to-day operations, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and carry out simple repairs of mechanical and electrical installations. You will also ensure safety in the workplace through close supervision and implementation of all safety requirements.

You will work closely with term contractors and attend to ad-hoc duties assigned by management. Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and willingness to work rotating shifts are essential for this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a retail mall/office/hotel environment with sound technical knowledge of building services (M&E).
  • Nitec in Facility Management or relevant courses, preferably in mechanical or electrical services.
  • Basic knowledge in MS Office.
  • Solid understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities with excellent communication skills.
