About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Solutions Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in defining and executing solutions that meet our customers' complex needs.

  • Participate in bid qualification and definition of the bid strategy for mid-to-large or non-standard sales projects relating to all OBS Business Units solutions lines.
  • Provide design support for both new and existing customers requiring Orange Business Services Solutions across WAN, LAN, unified communications, security, IoT, service management in support of sales.
  • Support customer-facing team members to complete solution design validation and costing activities.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of external tools required in conjunction with internal tools, systems, and processes to develop quality/approved technical proposals to customers.
  • Maintain a high degree of technical knowledge of all Orange Business products, services, and solutions sets.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Sound technical knowledge in various Enterprise solutions.
  • The ability to support ASEAN Sales team and provide Networking (MPLS, Internet, P2P, Campus LAN, WiFi, SDWAN, SDLAN), UCC solutions (ET, IPT, VoIP, Video, Telepresence, Contact Center), Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and M2M/IoT solutions.
  • Experience in sales support and design of enterprise IT solutions: SD-WAN Solution, such as Fortinet, VeloCloud, Cisco, Silverpeak; Technical Experience in UCC or UC, such as Zoom, Microsoft, Cisco.
  • A working knowledge & experience with controls such as firewalls, proxy, internet protection (Zscaler & others).
  • An understanding of cloud technology is highly desirable. Knowledge of M2M/IoT is a plus.
  • The ability to collect and interpret customers' requirements to produce cost-effective and efficient solutions designs to meet complex needs of our customers.
  • Knowledge in any other principles is an advantage.

Education/Experience:

  • A minimum of 7 years related work experience in customer-facing organizations within the telecom or IT industry or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in pre-sales engineering within the telecom industry or equivalent.
  • Experience in technology and/or management consulting is a plus.
  • A proven track record in creating and positioning solutions to customer needs.
  • Industry-wide knowledge/market leadership in Services/Security/Unified Communications & Collaboration/Infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of M2M/IoT is a plus.
  • Personal and professional credibility to challenge customer assumptions/internal responses.
