Lead English Education Specialist

Our preschool in Singapore is seeking an experienced and skilled English education leader to join our international team. This role involves leading a class of children through daily routines, inquiry-driven lessons, and outdoor play.

The preschool is housed in a heritage black-and-white bungalow with a private garden, providing a collaborative environment. We follow the International Preschool Curriculum (IPC) with influences from Reggio Emilia and Montessori approaches.

  • Develop and implement engaging inquiry-driven English lessons for children aged [insert age range].
  • Build strong relationships with parents during drop-off and pick-up, ensuring open communication and trust.
  • Host Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) and curriculum townhalls independently in English, promoting transparency and collaboration.
  • Partner with an experienced international teaching team and classroom assistants to create a safe and engaging learning environment aligned with ECDA standards.

Requirements:

  • ECDA-certified (minimum L1) with at least 1 year of preschool classroom teaching experience.
  • Prior experience in an international preschool is required.
  • Warm and energetic presence with confidence in leading inquiry-driven English lessons.
  • Strong parent-facing ability – able to engage confidently with non-Chinese-speaking expat parents.
  • Familiarity with Reggio, Montessori, or inquiry-led approaches is preferred.
  • Able to commit to a Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM fixed schedule.
