Language Instructor Opportunity

This role involves teaching Mandarin Chinese to students aged 6 and above. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about sharing Chinese language and culture with learners of all ages and backgrounds.

  • Conduct engaging and interactive Chinese language classes, including Business Chinese.
  • Deliver lessons catering to individual or group needs.
  • Conducting classes in-person and/or online (1-on-1 and/or small group setting).
  • Maintain accurate student attendance, class records, and reports.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and parents on progress and areas of improvement.
  • Will to provide additional hours to make up for missed lessons.
  • Maintain a safe and vibrant learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Candidates must possess at least a bachelor's degree or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in teaching the Chinese language to non-Chinese speakers.
  • Relevant academic background or teaching Chinese as an International Language is preferred.
  • Native or near-native proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written), with strong command of English.
  • Accurate pronunciation for spoken Mandarin.
  • Technological expertise using digital platforms.
  • Patient, passionate, and responsible individual.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Able to commit at least 6 months to 1 year.

Working Arrangements:

Weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends available.
