**An established early childhood centre is hiring a Mandarin preschool teacher to lead small-group classes for children aged 0 to 5. The role involves delivering Mandarin lessons, guiding both the child and accompanying parent during lessons, adapting lesson materials monthly, and documenting each child’s progress.**:

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct Mandarin lessons for preschool-aged children
- Guide both the child and accompanying parent during class
- Adapt and update teaching materials monthly based on class progress
- Document learning and development outcomes for each child
- Maintain clear, professional communication with families
- Ensure a calm, safe, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to uphold teaching consistency and centre values

**Requirements**:
**Essential Qualifications and Experience**:

- Able to deliver lessons confidently in Mandarin, as the role involves teaching in Mandarin and communicating with Mandarin-speaking parents
- Able to communicate in basic English
- Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education - Teaching (Chinese), or ECDA-recognised equivalent
- Experience working with children aged 0-6 in preschool, childcare, or group teaching environments
- Comfortable teaching in a parent-accompanied classroom model
- Able to work on-site at the East Coast centre
- Available for weekend work (one or two weekend days per week)

**Other Considerations**:

- Fresh diploma graduates are welcome
- Prior experience in structured enrichment or preschool settings is an advantage
- Note: As this is a parent-accompanied class format, teachers must be comfortable engaging both the child and parent during lessons. _

**Work Location**:
East Coast, Singapore (ground-floor premise)

**Work Schedule**:

- 5-day work week (choose one of the following):
3 weekdays + 2 weekends
4 weekdays + 1 weekend
- 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (includes 1-hour lunch break)
- Fully on-site role

**Salary and Career Progression**:

- Probation (1 month): $2,500/month
- Post-probation: $2,800 - $3,000/month
- Tiered progression based on student hours taught:
Tier 1 (up to 55 hrs/week): $3,500 - $3,700
Tier 2 (up to 77 hrs/week): $4,000 - $4,200 _(target within 6 months) _
Tier 3: up to $4,800
Tier 4: up to $5,500+

**Interview Process**:

- In-person structured interview (~1 hour)
- Half-day classroom trial including lesson prep and co-teaching observation
