A dynamic and skilled private swimming instructor is sought to provide personalized swimming lessons tailored to each child's skill level, learning pace, and goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach water safety, basic swimming techniques, and advanced strokes suitable for the child's age and abilities.
- Create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment that fosters confidence and enjoyment in the water.
- Regularly assess each student's progress and modify lesson plans to meet their evolving needs and skill development.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate children with learning or special needs, ensuring inclusivity in every lesson.
- Collaborate closely with families to discuss progress, provide feedback, and offer guidance on how to practice swimming skills outside of lessons.
- Maintain strict safety standards at all times during lessons, adhering to best practices for water safety and first aid.
- Certified swimming instructor with recognized qualifications from reputable organizations such as the Singapore Swimming Association (SSA) or equivalent.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification is mandatory.
- Previous experience teaching swimming to children, particularly in one-on-one settings.
- Experience working with children with learning or special needs is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient, encouraging, and safety-first approach to teaching.
- Ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and individual needs.
- A genuine passion for teaching swimming and helping children develop their confidence and skills in the water.
