Portfolio Manager Job Description

This is a key role working closely with the Head of Portfolio Management to monitor, analyze, anticipate and optimize asset/portfolio performance to drive long-term performance and resilience of the portfolio.

The role provides opportunities for driven individuals to collaborate with cross-functional teams including colleagues from asset management, investor relations and sustainability departments. They will be exposed to and develop cross-functional skill sets and leadership capabilities.

  • Preparation of quarterly board meeting documents and trustee reports
  • Ensuring monthly portfolio look-through, incidents and sustainability reports are prepared, cleared and submitted on time
  • Working with the asset management and finance teams to track and review annual asset budgets and analysis of variances against portfolio level forecasts
  • Competitor benchmarking and analysis
  • Ongoing monitoring of market, sustainability and Health and Safety (HSE) related news that could affect the assets under management, highlighting key topics internally where relevant
Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities include:

  • Portfolio reporting and analysis
  • Preparing quarterly reports and ensuring timely submission of documents
  • Coordinating with various internal departments for presentations
  • Supporting special projects assigned including portfolio wide systems integration and investments and divestments
Requirements

Job requirements include:

  • Possess degree in business, finance or economics or related field disciplines
  • Minimum 5-7 years' experience of relevant working experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in financial modeling and analytical work
  • Interest to learn and be exposed to sustainability related requirements
