Pharmacy Supply Chain Specialist

The role of Procurement Pharmacy Assistant involves supporting the pharmacy team in procurement activities, ensuring timely availability of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies for patient care.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers on quotation requests, purchase orders, and delivery schedules to ensure smooth operations.
- Verify and receive incoming stock against purchase orders, checking for accuracy, quality, and expiry dates to maintain compliance.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procurement activities, including invoices, purchase requisitions, and supplier records to support auditing and reporting.
- Monitor stock levels, track usage trends, and assist in forecasting to prevent shortages or overstocking and optimize inventory management.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in doing procurement for medications is essential.
This position requires strong organizational and time management skills, good communication skills, and ability to work independently. The ideal candidate should be able to maintain accurate records and provide administrative support to the pharmacy department.
Forecasting, Quality Assurance, Inventory Management, Data Entry, Communication Skills, and Customer Service are key skills required for this role. A full-time position that requires flexibility and adaptability.
