As a key member of our healthcare team, the Patient Registration Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless patient experiences. This position involves handling patient registration, billing, and visitor management, as well as providing guidance on medical insurance and claims.
About the Job:
The Patient Registration Specialist will be responsible for:
- Registering patients accurately and efficiently.
- Handling patient billing and performing administrative tasks related to patient records.
- Providing guidance to patients on medical insurance and claims, including Medisave, MediShield, and corporate insurance.
- Entering Doctors' Fees and details from Doctor's Letters of Certification into the system.
- FOLLOWING UP ON RELEVANT DOCUMENTATION WHEN NECESSARY
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Prior experience in patient registration or a related field is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in using electronic health records systems.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail when handling patient information.
